It has been 23 years since the tragic demise of Princess Diana. In fact, I wasn't even born then. I write this today because I deeply feel that everyone should recognize exactly why the global masses fell in love with Diana.
We all know that she was breathtaking, an absolute stunner. She was beautiful both inside and out and challenged convention in ways no one dared to. Her compassion, light, cheer, and resilience are all equally to be remembered as her legacy.

1. She rose from the ashes of her marriage
When she married into the royal family as a starstruck, playful 19-year-old, Diana had no idea what was in store for her. She was madly in love with Prince Charles and wanted to have a happy marriage against all odds.
The prince, however, had already found his soulmate in Camilla Parker-Bowles. From wearing his ex’s gifts on his honeymoon to dodging Diana’s calls and having rendezvouses with Camilla, Diana was crushed.
