Princess Haya bint Hussein was the sixth (and most popular) wife of Sheikh Mohammed, the ruler of Dubai and Prime Minister of the UAE (United Arab Emirates). She is the daughter of the late King Hussein of Jordan. But this is not all she’s famous for.
Haya is the first Arab and first woman to become a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations World Food Program. She is an Oxford graduate and a highly reputed equestrian. Haya proudly represented Jordan at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Australia.
Princess Haya had often been seen with Sheikh Mohammed, avidly participating in charitable activities and other high-profile public events with dignitaries and foreign ministers.
Haya was the face of empowerment — a modern Dubai princess who was smashing records with her intellect, wealth, and freedom. This façade was shattered in 2019 when the princess was forced to flee for her life.
On April 15, 2019, Princess Haya took her two children Jalila (13) and Zayed (9) to England and refused to come back. The furious Sheikh demanded custody of their children, which lead to a long-drawn, ugly legal battle, the results of which shocked the world.

According to the 34-page fact-finding document published by the British High Court, here is everything that happened.
Sheikh Mohammed married Princess Haya in 2004, and since then, they had always seemed like a happy couple in love. But 14 years later, the intimacy between Haya and Sheikh Mohammed had dwindled until there was barely anything. Although not as close-knit as before, they still remained cordial and mutually supportive of each other.
Haya maintained her own residence in Dubai and England, and the Sheikh regularly paid visits to spend time with her and their children. Around the end of 2017, Haya reportedly “embarked on an adulterous relationship” with one of her male bodyguards.
