Beautifully put, Clément! I’m baffled at how these gurus are so cocky that they KNOW people will spend thousands of dollars if they’re enticed by an illusion. It’s just an illusion though.

I recently wrote about Rachel Hollis(her idol is Tony Robbins lol, you know where this is going). And I noted the same disturbing thing- how they thrive on getting people to think that if they don’t succeed, it’s their fault for not working hard enough. They simply don’t have the “right mindset”. Our pieces highlight alarming similarities in both of them, and now I see where the other self-help gurus got their audacity from😆
