I had one story that did well and overall higher stats than usual. I read a lot, but did not respond or engage much. For all the responses on my own stories, I responded back a day into May. And started engaging with other writers too only from May 2nd-ish.

I think the criteria was, like you said, claps, views, reads, and responses. I had extra external traffic too, I’m not sure if that counted since they mentioned “member engagement” several times.
