These were the words of a hysterical young woman named Gypsy Rose as she was questioned. The police officer speaking to her said “Sweetheart, I know you love your mom. But why did Nick hurt her?”

The truth was that Gypsy’s boyfriend, Nick had killed her mother, and Gypsy was the one who asked him to. This is the story of Gypsy Rose Blanchard and the horrifying details of her mother’s murder that unfolded.

Gypsy’s Early “Ailing” Days

When Gypsy Rose was born in 1991, her mother Dee Dee claimed she had sleep apnea. Around the age of 10, Dee Dee told Gypsy’s father Rob that medical tests showed Gypsy had leukemia and muscle dystrophy, due to which she couldn’t walk.

She told him that their daughter was much slower than other kids her age. In fact, she went as far as telling him that she might not even make it past her teens.
